I had a similar problem. When driving in a corner the motor almost stopped. After restart this problem was solved. In my Kangoo diesel the problem was fixed by changing the 'timing valve' on the diesel pump. This 'timing valve' controls the timing of the fuel delivery. When it is old it starts to misfunction. When taking a curve you mostly hold back the gas pedal and this is the signal for the timing valve to be actuated fully. It then stays in that posistion. When I had the problem I was able to drive by in no situation holding back the gas pedal in one quick move. When you hold back the gas pedal very slowly it functions o.k.
This last remark can help you to find out wheater the 'timing valve' is indeed the problem.
